Disrupting “The 4C Cycle of Anti-Black Racism” PD Trilogy
We have created a new and innovative concept entitled “The 4C’s of AntiBlack Racism Framework,” which allows us to identify anti-Black racism, trace the history of how it has taken place in a space, predict its future if undisrupted, shows us how name and interrupt it and helps us see its impacts. This original and helpful framework can only be attained through us.
Disrupting Latinx/e Anti-Black Racism
This 2 hour session equips staff to disrupt anti-Black racism as it typically shows up in Latinx/e spaces, culture, and praxis. It is a non-shaming, empowering and transformative session that can meaningfully shift your culture. It is most impactful as an add-on to the trilogy and is ideal for sites with a large Latinx/e student and/or staff population.
Healing Centered Engagement for Black Educators
This 2 hour session for Black educators carves out space for healing and transformation through storytelling. In this all-Black space, Black educators get to share their stories of Black joy, learn about the legacy and history of Black joy, and re-imagine Black joy in their spaces. The session is upbeat, joyful and transformative.
